Grandma's Hands® Pregnancy and Postpartum Herbs & Nutrition in the Southern Tradition Online Course
A 6-week online course reclaiming the healing traditions of Southern Black midwives.
Traditional knowledge fills the gaps that modern care leaves behind
What once guided families naturally through the childbearing year has largely been forgotten.
For generations, Southern Black midwives carried deep wisdom about how to support the childbearing year using herbs, nutrition, and traditional care practices. That knowledge kept families healthy and grounded. And somewhere along the way, much of it was replaced by systems that did not center the people they were meant to serve.
You have been drawn to plant medicine and traditional practices. Something that feels more connected and more intentional than what modern systems alone offer. But without proper guidance it is hard to know where to start or who to trust.
You want to understand how to use herbs and nutrition to support pregnancy, birth, and postpartum confidently and correctly. “Where do I even begin?” “I want to learn this the right way.” “I want to apply this knowledge without getting it wrong.”
This knowledge belongs to you. You just need someone to help you reclaim it.
Where traditional wisdom meets practical application
