Before I built my practice, I spent years supporting families as a doula. I was in the room. I watched what happened when women weren’t heard, when decisions moved faster than understanding, and when no one held space for a real conversation. I saw mothers leave their births wondering if they had honored their own voice. That stayed with me and shaped the kind of care I knew I needed to build.
What I discovered changed everything. When women feel genuinely safe, known by their provider, and truly heard, their experiences look entirely different. Not just emotionally. Clinically. Safety and autonomy are not in conflict. They belong together. That became the foundation of Divine Birth Wisdom.
